Our hooves will make dents in the soil for the water and the seed to collect and germinate.

The trampled grasses will cover the brown earth in a blanket of mulch; it will protect the tiny creatures that live in the soil from the scorching sun and driving rains, and they will transform our droppings into food for the plants again.
